Athlete turned filmmaker. I built Taylor Brown 31 to tell purposeful, cinematic stories for events, brands, and documentaries.
History & Highlights
High School Legacy
The journey began at Bishop McNamara High School, where I was named Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year and WCAC Player of the Year in 2011. I helped lead the 2008 WCAC Championship team and was inducted into the Bishop McNamara Hall of Fame—first in 2023 with the team, then in 2024 as an individual.
College Basketball
I started at Georgetown University, then transferred to George Mason University, where I led the program in scoring three straight years and cemented my place as one of the program’s top guards.
Professional Career Overseas
After college I played professionally across Europe for 8 years. Those experiences taught resilience, perspective, and craft—fuel I now bring to every creative project.

From buzzer beaters to full-game showcases in Sweden, these moments shaped my competitive mindset—and my approach to storytelling: poise under pressure and a respect for the long game.
Creative Storyteller
After basketball, I transitioned my competitive drive into media — producing documentaries, branded content, and live event coverage. This journey has spanned awards, entrepreneurship, global production, broadcast news, and teaching.

- Taught Photography & Broadcast Journalism with hands-on curriculum.
- Led four classes to produce 2–3 min short films for the Christmas Film Festival.
